Sherry celebrates her birthday with some of Brenna’s cookies that arrive to the local post office via General Delivery. Yum.

Visiting long time friends Virginia and Doug in Virginia was fall weather for sure, including snow. Decide we need to hasten our southbound journey.

Blue Ridge Parkway thru Shenandoah National Park displays plenty of beautiful fall colors in lower elevations. The upper elevations already dropped their leaves.

University of North Carolina in Chapel Hills is a beautiful campus, especially walking it with Jon and Brenna.

Outside of Columbia, South Carolina, a nice camping area is in Sesquicentennial State Park. Close enough to the State House for a visit, an activity we enjoy.

A few nights in Georgia, then Florida at last! Plenty of friends and relatives to visit in this Sunshine State. We are enjoying the warmth here. Plenty of French-Canadians who winter here for six months each year. French seems to be a dominant language in some RV Parks.

A little dancing, card playing, bicycle riding, and guitar playing with new friends make for fun days and evenings.
