Books? In a trailer? Who has room? We keep a few around, trading them at lending libraries. Mostly we’ve switched to digital for everything. A lot of the older books are available for free at Project Gutenberg.

Coushatte RV Park offers fun and fellowship by hosting monthly square dancing, followed by Hand and Foot card games. Veteran’s Day, and we had the honor of listening to a WW II veteran speaking.

 

10 mile walk one morning with friend Jeb and his dog Rusty. While we talked about what a great companion dogs can be, a new country song came to mind that goes something like this: “Don’t Mess with Texas, Don’t Mess with Mama, and Don’t Mess with My Dog!”

Texas landscape is not all western movie stereotype of flat and dry. The eastern half is lush green with trees and grass. Swamps near Houston have alligators and birds including Spoonbill. Texas style dinner, with friends Jeb and Lori, of crab stuffed jalapenos and crawfish.

The temperatures here and around the country are warming up as summer approaches. How long will we stay in Texas once the real heat arrives? We will find out – On Our Adventure!
